Our primary location is a second home for our members, centrally-located in the heart of the Noroton Heights area of Darien, CT.
It includes housing for our apparatus and tools, a community event space, ample parking and convenient access to McGuane Field, located just behind the fire house.
The station is open 24 hours/day, seven days a week. Members have digital access-keys to come-and-go as they please. Visitors are welcome anytime, with many members around the station on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. Stop by sometime and say hello!
Our apparatus are housed at and respond from this station to alarms all over town. The top floor (street level) includes offices for Chiefs and Officers, lockers for firemen, and a large kitchen area where firemen frequently gather.
Downstairs is a large event space where we host birthday parties and events. It is outfitted with a large, fully-stocked professional chef's kitchen. The area also includes a table for members to share meals, a large recreation room, and a bunk room for on-call members to sleep overnight.
